Emily is passionate about supporting clients through the most difficult times of their lives. She helps clients work through relationship struggles, infidelity, complex trauma, perinatal and postpartum difficulties, and sexual challenges. Other areas of clinical focus include OCD/anxiety conditions and eating disorders.

Emily knows how overwhelming and isolating it can feel when you’re struggling to make sense of painful emotions on your own. She will work alongside you, offering guidance and support as you navigate this journey together. Her approach is personal and tailored to your unique experiences, helping you develop coping strategies that truly resonate with you, build resilience, and create meaningful change in your life. Using evidence-based techniques, Emily aims to foster healing and growth in a way that feels natural and empowering. Most importantly, she believes that a strong, trusting therapeutic relationship can be transformative, and is committed to providing a safe, compassionate space where you feel truly seen, understood, and supported every step of the way.

Emily is deeply committed to supporting relationships and has a special focus on attachment and relational work with individuals and couples. As a couples therapist, she supports her clients in exploring and understanding the patterns and dynamics that may be affecting both personal well-being and the overall health of their relationships. Emily understands that relationships are complex and the challenges that arise within them can often feel overwhelming and painful. She works with couples to reopen lines of communication, heal old and new wounds, identify barriers to oneness, and support solutions that align with the couple’s goals. With empathy and care, she is dedicated to helping each person and couple she works with find meaningful ways to resolve conflicts, and strengthen emotional intimacy. Emily believes that true healing and lasting change come from building authentic, meaningful connections with oneself and others.

Emily’s approach to therapy blends techniques from evidence-based practices like DBT, CBT while also using elements of Emotion Focused Therapy (EFT), attachment and psychodynamic theories. Emily specializes in treating adults who are struggling with relationship challenges, complex trauma, infidelity, OCD, personality disorders, anxiety and mood disorders. Her work is trauma-informed and LGBTQIA++ friendly.

Infidelity & Betrayal Trauma

Emily is deeply committed to helping individuals and couples heal after the devastating pain of betrayal. She understands how disorienting it can feel when the foundation of trust is broken, leaving you questioning everything, including your relationship, your sense of self, and your future. Your mind may be stuck in overdrive, replaying what happened, trying to make sense of it all, while feelings of anxiety, grief, and self-doubt take over. Additional trauma symptoms can emerge and cause you to feel stuck in a constant state of vigilance, draining all your energy. The emotional toll can be exhausting, making it hard to see a way forward. You don’t have to navigate this pain alone. You deserve honesty and compassion to heal and rebuild your life. Emily provides a compassionate space for you to process your emotions, rebuild trust—whether in yourself or your relationship—and take steps toward healing. Using evidence-based techniques, she will guide you through the trauma, helping you regain a sense of stability, connection, and strength.

Perinatal, Postpartum & Fertility

Emily is also passionate about supporting individuals and couples struggling with perinatal challenges, postpartum anxiety or depression, infertility or pregnancy loss. She knows the anxious thoughts you are carrying, the pain of longing, the silent grief, the overwhelm, and the self-doubt that can come with this journey. The emotions you have including anxiety, frustration, fear, and even guilt are real and valid. She will provide a safe space where you can process these feelings without judgment. Through evidence-based therapy, mindfulness techniques, and a personalized approach, Emily will help you navigate the complexities of your feelings, ease any uncertainty, and support you through this life transition. Together, she will help you ease your emotional burden, rebuild your sense of self, and create hope and resilience, so you can move forward with strength and self-compassion.

Eating Disorders

Emily has extensive experience and a deep understanding of the challenges clients can face with food-related concerns and body image difficulties. She creates a safe and non-judgmental space where clients can explore their relationship with food, body image, and self-worth. With a gentle approach, Emily works collaboratively with individuals to navigate the emotional and psychological challenges of recovery. Her goal is to empower clients to heal from within, fostering self-compassion, acceptance, and resilience along the way. Emily believes in the power of kindness, patience, and support as essential tools for transformation.
